A DATING Application?

A Dating Application...

REALLY?

By Kelly Lynn/The Gypsy Sister

Yes. In short, the answer is, yes.

I may have mentioned this before (insert sarcasm here), but I am a Grandmother. I’ve dated a few people in my life. I’ve been married. I’ve been divorced. And most importantly, I know what I want out of a relationship and what I don’t want out of a relationship. I am no longer open to anything. I have established healthy boundaries for myself, in terms of what I expect to get out of a relationship and I know what I’m willing to put into a relationship. It’s not one-sided – even though I am the one with the application – I am still well aware of the time and effort required to be a good partner for someone.  I wasn’t prepared to do that for awhile and thankfully (that’s the beauty of growing up) was mature enough to know this. Finally, I have decided that I am in a good place with my grandson and I can put an end to my dating hiatus. Since I know what I am looking for, I have created an application to narrow things down.

You already know me if you’re here. That’s why I have an application. If you don’t like it, keep moving and don’t fill it out. I am not making any judgments on a personal level. I have respect for everyone, but there are certain things that are deal-breakers for me and things I am curious about that aren’t deal-breakers at all, but I would just love to know! I’m not going to tell you which are which – I’m hoping for total honesty – but in case any one tries to sneak in on a date with dishonesty I am not disclosing which questions are for elimination.
